Dr. Steven Fite is committed to providing his patients with the very best in eye care.
His philosophy behind patient care is simple: Provide patients with a thorough examination and a clear explanation of the condition and necessary treatment for their eyes.
If you need eye surgery, Dr. Fite performs surgery at facilities that provide the most advanced, state of the art technologies, in a caring, compassionate environment.
Dr. Fite is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he studied Biochemistry. He completed his residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, and a Corneal/Refractive Surgery fellowship at the prestigious Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City.
In addition to Cataract and LASIK surgery, Dr. Fite is also uniquely qualified to perform surgery on the cornea, the front surface of the eye where LASIK and other vision correction surgeries are performed.
Dr. Fite is frequently the doctor that patients with surgical complications come to for help.
His cornea training also enables him to offer superior care for other corneal and external disease issues, such as contact lens-related problems, dry eye disease, blepharitis, keratoconus, dystrophies, and corneal ulcers.
Dr. Fite provides patients with a full range of eye care, from general eye exams and contact lens fittings, to evaluation and treatment of cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease.
No matter what your eye care needs are, Dr. Fite and his staff are committed to making sure that patients get the attention and care they deserve.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Fite enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and their Golden Retriever “Reggie”.
